Reverend Father Arnold Trauner
Father Arnold Trauner, born on May 22, 1970, is a distinguished Austrian priest who has dedicated his life to serving God and spreading His love and teachings. With a strong foundation in the Catholic faith and a deep passion for spiritual growth, Father Trauner's journey has been marked by profound experiences and a steadfast commitment to the Church.
Early in his life, Father Trauner embarked on a path of religious studies and joined the German SSPX seminary in 1988. His dedication and intellectual rigor culminated in his ordination as a priest on June 25, 1994, under the auspices of Mgr de Galarreta at the SSPX seminary in Zaitzkofen.
Father Trauner's ministry has led him to diverse corners of the world. He embarked on a missionary journey, touching the lives of countless individuals in Gabon, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Nigeria.
In 2013, Father Trauner underwent a profound spiritual transformation when he discovered the una-cum issue and sedevacantism. Driven by an insatiable thirst for truth and a deep desire to align himself with the most authentic teachings of the Church, he embarked on a journey of introspection and reflection. He left the SSPX in 2013.
This period of discernment led him to the Institute of the Mother of Good Counsel (IMBC) in Italy, which he joined in 2017. Having studied the theological position of the IMBC, particularly the Cassiciacum Thesis, Father Trauner found solace and clarity in their teachings.
Today, Father Arnold Trauner celebrates the Holy Mass in various locations, including Austria, Hungary, and England. In addition to his priestly duties, Father Trauner has been instrumental in promoting the Ignatian Exercises, recognizing their transformative impact on spiritual development. With great enthusiasm, he shares this invaluable spiritual resource with those seeking a deeper connection with God and a more profound understanding of their faith.
