Season 10, May Course: TradReviews

“O Mary! We crown thee with blossoms today, Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May!”

What a wonderful month we have ahead! The little ones are excitedly preparing for May Crowning, and each Catholic home shows special honor to Our Mother with roses or other adornments about her images. Mother Church blesses us with the feasts of Sts. Philip and James (May 1), the Finding of the Holy Cross (May 3), and, of course, Ascension Thursday (May 13), Pentecost Sunday (May 23), and the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary (May 31). And don’t forget Whit Embertide at the end of the month. So much to do and enjoy as the world wakes up into the full bloom of spring!

Recreation and downtime are important, especially as the worldliness of our society grows more and more oppressive. Wholesome relaxation can help provide the energy and effort needed for prayer and spiritual growth. To that end, this May we’re bringing back an old series with new episodes and voices: TradReviews. A variety of hosts will review an assortment of games, books, and films, including Chinese Chess, Carcassonne (a tile-based board game), a trio of Joan of Arc films, and a number of saint books. It promises to be a fun and informative return of this classic True Restoration series!

Please note that all of the most recent episodes of True Restoration programming can only be accessed by our Monthly and Annual members. We need the support of our membership to continue and expand our work and to aid our support of the clergy. Tune in to the return of TradReviews by becoming a member!

Listen all month and try out some new recreational activities with some of our hosts here at True Restoration!
