Despite earning $50,000 a day in ad revenue from Flappy Bird, the mobile app game that Dong Nguyen created, he expresses dismay at the addictive way people are playing it and remorse at the loss of his simple life.  He then pulls the plug on it while the world scratches its head in wonderment.  It would be lovely to discover that Dong Nguyen is a Catholic, but such details are not mentioned in this Gizmodo coverage of the story.
